Eligibility Criteria for the Donovan-Johnston Memorial Scholarship (MDHS):
- Applicants must be outstanding enrolled graduate researchers of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences.
- Candidates should be medical graduates enrolled in a graduate research degree at the Melbourne Medical School.
- Applicants are required to attend education courses conducted by or in association with the Royal College of Surgeons of England or participate in a clinical attachment to UK hospitals recognized for training towards fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
- Candidates must meet the Faculty’s entry requirements for a Ph.D. program.
Selection Criteria:
- Eligible applicants will be selected based on academic merit, the faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skills in the relevant research area, career aspirations, and the terms and conditions of the trust.
- The selection committee will evaluate the application form, academic transcripts, faculty scholarship score, the student’s project proposal, CV, and referee reports during the selection process.
