Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web App Developer with expertise in Node.js, Laravel, and CodeIgniter to join our dynamic and innovative development team which will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. Also, he/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the highest quality and performance of our applications.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements, propose technical solutions, and estimate project timelines.
- Design and implement clean and efficient code solutions, following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Optimize application performance, making necessary improvements to enhance user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, helping them grow and improve their skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Web App Developer, with 4 plus consecutive years of professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Proficient in version control systems, such as Git and GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with mobile app development and other web technologies is a plus.
