Job description

CTG OverviewCTG staff supports humanitarian projects in fragile and conflict-affected countries around the world, providing a rapid and cost-effective service for development and humanitarian missions. With past performance in 17 countries – from the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, we have placed more than 20,000 staff all over the world since operations began in 2006.

CTG recruits, deploys, and manages the right people with the right skills to implement humanitarian and development projects, from cleaners to obstetricians, and mechanics to infection specialists, we’re skilled in emergency response to crises such as the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. Key to successful project delivery is the ability to mobilize at speed; CTG can source and deploy anyone, anywhere, in less than 2 weeks and has done so in 48 hours on several occasions.

Overview of positionThe Call Center of Polio Eradication program at the National Emergency Operation Center (NEOC) was re-established in March 2023 to facilitate community listening, feedback loops, community education, and awareness. This Call center will provide a platform for telephonic queries and complaints about polio eradication to be addressed timely. Likewise, it will deliver accurate information about the benefits of vaccines for polio and other vaccine-preventable diseases to the target audiences through telephone effective conversation, text, and voice messages to promote their acceptance in the community.

This Center will be a two-way communication channel; in addition to performing as a call reception center, there will be the capability to call out to specific recipients (target groups) to provide information on vaccines, and vaccinations, and encourage caregivers to vaccinate their children against polio and other childhood diseases.

Unlike the previous utility of the Call center for monitoring polio vaccinations in inaccessible areas, this Call center is envisioned for monitoring, surveys, and communication purposes across the country with a focus on low-performing areas or communities. Other Call centers in the East and South regions will complement the activities of this Center.

Role objectives·Respond to incoming calls and maintain a database of all calls on the prescribed format.

·Record details of comments, inquiries, and complaints and take action accordingly.

·Conduct out-going calls in the polio high-risk areas to promote vaccine acceptance and increase community awareness

·Prepare a list of action-oriented items as per the calls received and dialed.

·Conduct telephonic surveys and enter data and information from calls into the database.

·Organize, prepare, sort, and maintain data entry documents and share them with the call center supervisor

·Prepare and submit a monthly activity report to call center supervisor

·Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
