This Center will be a two-way communication channel; in addition to performing as a call reception center, there will be the capability to call out to specific recipients (target groups) to provide information on vaccines, and vaccinations, and encourage caregivers to vaccinate their children against polio and other childhood diseases.

Unlike the previous utility of the Call center for monitoring polio vaccinations in inaccessible areas, this Call center is envisioned for monitoring, surveys, and communication purposes across the country with a focus on low-performing areas or communities. Other Call centers in the East and South regions will complement the activities of this Center.

• Properly and accurately answer the concerns, hesitancies, and misperceptions of the telephone callers about polio and other vaccine-preventable diseases from Islamic perspectives.
• Provide accurate information for answering the polio-related queries of callers on perspective viewpoints of Islam.
• Conduct research review and produce evidence based on research and studies referring to Islamic Sharia on the importance of vaccination and other preventive measures for diseases.
• Compile reliable resources and references for Islamic information, guidance, teachings, and Fatwas about the endorsement and importance of vaccination and other preventative measures of diseases.
• Develop from the viewpoints of Islam the possible and frequent questions and answers as FAQs about the polio vaccination.
• Produce short messages based on Islamic perspectives and disseminate them through IVR and SMS to promote vaccine acceptance and raise awareness.
• Call the target population in refusal area to address their Islamic-related refusal reasons through proper telephonic conversation.
• Record details of comments, inquiries, complaints and take action accordingly.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sharia Law or Graduated from any Reliable Madrassa with endorsement degree of Afghanistan Ministry of Higher Education.
• At least two years of working experience in religious research and or communication and advocacy
• Fluent in Pashto, and Dari
• Good in English
• Basic computer skills,
