Job Description:
This project aims to empower Afghan women by providing them with the knowledge and skills to start and manage small businesses and access micro credit. The video format show will target illiterate to moderately literate women, offering practical and accessible education through engaging and interactive content.
Objectives
- To enhance the business and financial literacy of Afghan women.
- To provide practical knowledge on starting and managing small businesses.
- To educate women on accessing and utilizing micro credit effectively.
- To inspire and motivate women through success stories and role models.
Scope of Work
The Female Small Business and Micro Credit Trainer will be responsible for:
- Content Development:
- Develop training modules and scripts tailored to the needs and literacy levels of the target audience.
- Create engaging and easy-to-understand educational materials, including visuals, demonstrations, and real-life examples.
- Adapt content to be suitable for video format, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
- Video Production:
- Present training content in a clear, engaging, and culturally sensitive manner for video recordings.
- Collaborate with the production team to create high-quality educational videos.
- Use interactive teaching methods to maintain viewer interest and enhance learning outcomes.
- Include segments that feature guest interviews, success stories, and practical demonstrations.
- Training Delivery:
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as basic business concepts, financial management, marketing, and accessing micro credit.
- Provide practical tips and advice on overcoming common challenges faced by small business owners.
- Facilitate Q&A segments to address viewer questions and concerns.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement tools to measure the effectiveness of the training content and delivery.
- Collect feedback from viewers to continuously improve the program.
- Provide regular progress reports to project management.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production team to ensure high-quality delivery of training content.
- Coordinate with local women’s organizations and microfinance institutions to provide accurate and up-to-date information

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in microfinance or entrepreneurship are a plus.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in small business development, microfinance, or related fields. Experience in training or teaching is highly desirable
- Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Proficiency in local languages (Dari and Pashto) and familiarity with the cultural context of Afghanistan.
- Creative and engaging teaching methods.
- Experience with video production and on-camera presentation is a plus.
