Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.

• Screen children U5 years of age and PLW for nutritional status, following the IMAM guideline.
• The screener should conduct MUAC assessment of 6-59 months children and PLW.
• train the CHW on their relevant tasks (community screener).
• The screener will register and coordinate the screening of children to verify their age at the distribution point.
• Coordinate the referral of children identified with SAM/ MAM with relevant service providers.
• The nutrition screener will collaborate with other IPs on nutrition activities and refer children identified with SAM/MAM.
• Introduce children and PLWs who meet admission or discharge criteria to the SAM and MAM services providers.
• The nutrition screener will also provide guidance to maternal Infant and Young Child Feeding (MIYCF) to enhance service delivery at the host community level.
• Work closely with community Mobiliser (CHS) to inform them about the name and address of the absentees and defaulter, to check if after tracing the absentees and defaulters are coming back.
• Mainly, the screener should support the SAM and MAM nurses at crowded HF.
• The N-screener is responsible for the accurate reporting of the detected cases.

• Having at least 12^th grade certificate.
• Having at least 1 year of work experience relevant to the position.
• Sensitive to Public Health issues.
• Priority will be given to thoes who has similar experience.
• Willing to ge to repeatedly to field .
• Good communication Skill.
