Job Summary
The incumbent of this position is responsible for troubleshooting and installing MW, PM, and CM whenever needed.
- As part of the team, join with rigging team for the daily PM/CM of the cell sites.
- Visit customer offices to line up new connectivity, and circuit troubleshooting, and assist them with the relocations.
- Join with rest of the technical members for site relocations to retrieve the equipment from old locations to the new place.
- Join with the rigging team whenever there is a work plan out of the city for any purpose.
- Assist the MW Engineers during new installations & EME troubleshooting which need to replace the faulty equipment from the tower.
- Work with the MW Engineer and assist with the commissioning of new links, installations & troubleshooting.
- Be familiar with how to use multi-meters, E1 tester, Ethernet testers & STM1 testing machines.
- Preventive & corrective maintenance of LL customers, BTS sites & VIP customer links.
- Visit BTS sites on a monthly basis for proper maintenance of indoor & outdoor equipment.
- Coordinate with the IT team for ISP E1s troubleshooting & further tests whenever required.
- Coordination with the ISP team whenever a problem is registered with them.
- Visit the site & investigate the problem to rectify the network issue.
- Support the IT team for the troubleshooting of circuits. Trace the E1 step by step and finally rectify the problem.
- Submit daily, weekly & monthly reports to the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (BSECE), Computer Engineering (BSCE), Electrical Engineering (BSEE), or Information Technology (BSIT).
- Must have 2 to 4 years of experience in a related field.
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
- Technical knowledge of all MW, BSS, RF as well as network platforms.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork & inter partnership skills.
