Job Summary
IT Assistant is responsible to Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, follow standard help desk procedures and stay current with system information, changes and updates.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to requests for technical assistance, via phone, electronically.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Research questions using available information resources.
- Advise the user on appropriate action.
- Follow standard help desk procedures.
- Log all help desk interactions.
- Administer help desk software.
- Redirect problems to appropriate resources.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.
- Prepare activity reports.
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates.
- Conduct branch network surveys and help in network installation and setup and when required shall visit the branches for the network and related troubleshooting.
- Any other computer equipment and IT-related activity that may be assigned by the Line Manager.
Job Requirements
- University degree in the field of Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing Windows servers 2016/2019 and supporting a group of users.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand data and how it will be used.
- Being hardworking and flexible.
- Professional behavior and discipline.
