Job Description:
IBW office is responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in compliance with DAB policies and regulations BMA policies IBW Islamic standards AAOIFI, as well as, conducting IBW-related Accounting Department, Credit Department, Operation Department, and Real-e-State Department constructively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Audit and review IBW-related policies & procedures.
- Carry out an independent and objective assuring assessment of conformity of Islamic banking’s operations with Sharia rules and principles.
- Develop audit plans for Islamic Banking and ensure the timely completion and submission of audit findings.
- Develop the scope, methodology, checklists/Working Papers
- Establish a Sharia Audit Program to provide standardized and proper guidance in auditing Islamic products, operations and activities.
- Perform internal financial and risk management audits and provide support to external financial audits of Islamic Banking Operations.
- Develop the formats of internal Sharia audit reports.
- Review and recommend improvement/enhancement of internal controls and risk management processes in Islamic banking.
- Making the best use of available information both in planning and executing assignments and working diligently to agreed objectives.
- Preparing the Sharia Audit report, and presenting the same to the chief internal Audit along with the audited samples and working papers.
- Suggest and recommend Sharia solutions for any non-Sharia compliance cases.
- Interacting with and supporting external auditors on Islamic banking audits as required.
- To audit and make sure that the IBW operation department cash is properly tallied.
- To audit the assets register of IBW finance with depreciation.
- audit and review the financial statements of IBW
- Audit and review files of all BMA-related properties. (Real Estate Department)
- Any other task assigned by the CIA ( Chief Internal Auditor)
Job Requirements:

- Work under pressure in difficult conditions.
