Global Partners is an international Non-Government Organization (NGO) based in the United Kingdom that carries out humanitarian projects worldwide. Global Partners was formed in 1991 with the objectives of advancing education and relieving poverty.
WHERE WE WORK
Global Partners has been involved in relief work in more than 20 countries around the world and has continuing development projects in Afghanistan and Tajikistan, to identify and evaluate the greatest needs of the people we serve. Alongside local partners, we attempt to eliminate obstacles and elevate the abilities and success of communities.

Global Partners works in the areas of community development, education and training, health improvement, emergency relief, and refugee assistance.
Job Description:
Government Liaison for small, international NGO, reporting to CFO. Responsible for the preparation, filing, follow up and completion of the NGO’s project applications with the government and other government filings as required.
Job Requirements:
General Obligations:
- Gain knowledge of and adhere to GP policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive communication with colleagues from GP Offices across Afghanistan.
- Work and act with integrity at all times.
Liaison Obligations:
- Responsible to assist the Chief Financial Officer with government liaison work.
- Prepare and submit online Project approval applications to the MOE. Follow through the entire project approval process with the MOE and sector ministries, so that project approvals are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure documentation is kept secure in organized files, both hard and soft copies.
- Collect data from GP Program Managers to prepare non-financial portion of MOE reporting.
- Receive completed MOE reporting from CFO/FO, submit hard copies and follow up with MOE until the reporting is accepted at the MOE.
- Develop and grow relationships with government ministers and staff.
- Response to emails and phone calls within 24 working hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Fluency in English. Fluent written and spoken Pashto and Dari are required.
