Job Description:

Preparing vouchers, providing advances to employees, maintaining proper filing system, advance reconciliation, cash count, maintaining the record of cash received and cash paid Etc.

Job Requirements:

(MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS):

  • Record the expenses in the cash register check expense reports and verify that the closing cash balance reconciles to the cash count
  • Scrutinize all bills and invoices, and preparation of vouchers within 2 days (ensuring all the bills and invoices are attached to the vouchers), and get vouchers duly approved and signed by authorized personnel.
  • Creation of vouchers, summary allocation, and translation of bills.
  • Disburse mobile calling cards to staff.
  • Scanning of all Badakhshan vouchers every month.
  • Deducting the taxes from the supplier’s payment when it is required
  • Giving advances to employees and clearing the advances.
  • Advance reconciliations and keep track of advances paid to employees for official purposes
  • Cash count every week and hard copies should be kept in a folder.
  • Obtaining quotation with admin department on a need basis

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Any other tasks assigned by her/his line managers

 

Skills:

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English and local languages.
  • Having good knowledge of computer programs (advanced skills in Excel and Word programs) and knowledge of QuickBooks or any other financial software is an advantage.
  • To be flexible, have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure and give high commitment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to adjust in a diversified and professional environment
  • Ability to travel to the field if needed
