The head office of the organization is in Kabul, Afghanistan and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of WASH, Good Governance, and Livelihood through its regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and central zone in a decentralized manner.
Job Description:
- Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them with awareness regarding the project activities.
- Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, behavior change communication and community mobilization sessions.
- Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
- Work closely with the community elders and CDCs in selecting the target communities.
- Help in finding children in target areas of the project.
- Conduct awareness training and conduct information campaigns on the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
- Prepare work plan, schedules, and report for all activities.
- Coordination with local authorities, and community leaders as well as faith leaders.
- Any other official related tasks may be assigned to him/her.
Job Requirements:
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in social science, Psychology, and another relevant field.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience of working in the community (Social Mobilizing, Community Mobilizing, Social Organizer, Community Facilitator etc).
- Relevant work experience in Emergency Programs would be a plus.
