Job Description:
Main duties and responsibilities:
The CBNP Master Trainer is responsible for conducting of effective training to the Community as per the Standards, guidelines and specified timeline. S/he is reportable to the CBNP Provincial Project Manager and Program Director of the organization and following are the main responsibility of the position:
- Develop Assessment Tools, identify training needs of trainees through pre-test and facilitates and supports their professional development.
- Develop detailed training plan and recommend tailor-made, easy to understand training material for each segment. The training material to be in line with CBNP national training guideline may include, guidelines, training manuals, presentations and flip charts.
- Plan and conduct CMSs at the HPs level as well CBNP refresher training for CHWs and CWs at HFs level.
- In consultation with the line supervisor, prepare travel plans for site visits and conduct field visits as per need to provide on-the-job-training and coaching to the field teams.
- Provide necessary support to the CBNP Provincial Project Manager and guidance to the field level staffs during the monitoring of activities taken place under CBNP nutrition project.
- Prepare field visit reports and submit it to line supervisor (Provincial Project Manager).
- Actively participate in CBNP, meetings, workshops and working groups conducted at provincial and district levels, if and when required.
- Notify the Project Manager of any concerns related to trainees learning and ability.
- Ensures all training program properties, all resources and equipment are maintained and are in good working condition
- Prepare the training activity report & submit it to Provincial Project Manager on timely manner.
- Maintain proper records and filing system of the capacity development/training documents.
Undertake any other assignment given by the management and Provincial Project Manager.

Qualifications:
- Education
- Completion of 14th Grade Diploma from recognized Health Institute
- Higher education degree in the field of Health will be desirable
- Experience
- Three years working experience with health sector, Community-based education or any other community-based program.
- One year experience as community-based program supervisor or trainer is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and leadership skills;
- Having community-level work experience and skills.
- Fluent Dari, Pashto, and Local Language with excellent speaking and writing skills;
- Proficient computing skills including word processing, spreadsheet design and PPT presentation.
Other skills required:
- Efficiency, result-oriented and community level working capabilities;
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner;
- Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
Ability to use information technology effectively.
