Job Summary
The Sales Representative will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting bid opportunities from UNISON and SAM.gov, developing comprehensive bid proposals, and ensuring alignment with the company’s capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams to deliver high-quality bid submissions. The Sales Representative will play a crucial role in improving the company’s bidding processes and increasing win rates.
Note: Your Normal hours of working will be from 16:00 up to 24:00 daily, Saturday to Thursday or as determined by the management.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Analyze and interpret bid opportunities from UNISON and SAM.gov, identifying key requirements and ensuring alignment with company capabilities
· Develop comprehensive bid proposals, including technical documentation, pricing, and compliance statements.
· Coordinate with internal teams (e.g, legal, finance, technical) to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of bid submissions
· Ensure all bid submissions comply with relevant procurement regulations, standards, and requirements of UNISON and SAM.gov
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in procurement policies and procedures related to government contracting
· Manage and track documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and organized
· Liaise with government agencies and procurement officers to clarify bid requirements and resolve any issues or questions
· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support successful bid outcomes and ongoing contract management
· Conduct market research to identify new bidding opportunities and trends within the public sector
· Develop and implement strategies to improve the company’s bidding process and increase win rates
· Prepare and present regular reports on bid status, win/loss analysis, and procurement performance metrics
· Analyze bid feedback and outcomes to continuously improve the bidding process
· Perform any other duties or tasks assigned by the direct supervisor as needed to support team and organizational objectives
Job Requirements
· Education: A Bachelor’s degree in BCS, BBA, Marketing, Business, or a related field is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
· Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related field is required, and experience in quotations/proposals is highly preferred.
· Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and expert fluency in English
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
· Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving performance and achieving business goals
· Self-motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
· Experience in recruitment or employee relations
