For the 2024–2025 academic year, overseas students can apply for scholarships through GCUB-Mob, the GCUB international mobility program. Applying for this award is open to citizens who want to study for a master’s or doctorate at affiliated Brazilian universities.
Through collaborations with foreign universities and international organizations, the International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) hopes to foster academic, scientific, and cultural links among its member institutions as well as university internationalization.

University obligations:
The host university sends an acceptance letter to the chosen candidates after the selection process.A separate letter outlining restrictions on patient operations is sent to candidates in the Health Sciences by the Program Coordinator.Particular guidelines for medical practice, including monitoring obligations, are provided to candidates for medical programs.In addition to the applicants, GCUB also received an electronic copy of the acceptance letter.Physical copies of the acceptance letter may also be mailed by the host universities to the candidates’ addresses.

Every chosen study program option has two essays:Essay 1: Academic objectives and interests; professional expectations and viewpoints toward going back home (one thousand words maximum).Essay 2: In four hundred words or fewer, the following should be included: the study object’s definition and defense, the main idea, the research question, the methodology, the timetable, the literature review, and bibliographical references.Evidence of a formal contract with a higher education institution is required for university teachers.
The Method of Selection
The review procedure consists of three stages: final classification, merit assessment, and document analysis. Gender equality, regional dispersion, and academic merit are some of the evaluating elements.
Phase 1: Document consistency analysis
