Job Description:
Social Media Specialist
Social Media Specialist are responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring company’s Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase sales. As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with Marketing and Sales departments.
Job Requirements:
The key responsibilities are:
- Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand, reinforces our status and reputation, and is appropriate for our various audiences.
- Develop and implement unique marketing strategies and campaigns through visual design elements that effectively communicate and promote brand identity and values.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to craft high-quality, engaging presentations that effectively communicate marketing strategies and campaigns to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Create and maintain a library of design assets and templates for marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, email marketing templates, and social media graphics to ensure brand consistency.
- Design user interfaces and web elements that enhance the user experience of our digital platforms, including websites and mobile applications.
- Analyze marketing challenges and create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements.
- Produce environmental designs for events and trade shows, including booth designs, signage, and branded promotional items to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Innovate and experiment with new visual and graphic techniques to evolve the brand aesthetic while maintaining brand integrity and consistency.
- Develop creative and engaging social media strategies
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as whatsapp, facebook, twitter, instagram, tiktok and youtube, adapting content to suit different channels
- Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand
- Handling customer requests and processing accordingly.
- Attending to customer queries and providing them with proper answers and awareness of company product and services.
- Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
- Undertake audience research
- Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as google analytics and facebook insights
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
- Analyze competitor activity
- Recommend improvements to increase performance
- Manage a budget for social media activities
- Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
