About International Assistance Mission (IAM):
International Assistance Mission (IAM) is a non-profit organisation through which local staff and international volunteers serve in partnership to build capacity in the sectors of health and development, working together in hope, for the welfare of the people of Afghanistan.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on cash movement for cash receipt/payments.
- Preparing daily cash counts/reconciliation.
- Filling/scanning financial supporting documents.
- Checking/verifying all cash vouchers.
- Posting all IAM project vouchers to the system MIP.
- Work with projects for cash/salary clearance.
- Managing and Transferring Cash to the projects.
- Working on Monthly Reconciliations
- Checking/verifying all cash vouchers.
- Maintaining cash supporting documents.
- Maintain Financial files and records.
- Collecting signed cash certificates from the projects.
- Review and post cross charges and salary vouchers to the system.
- Preparation of KRO motor vehicle mileage and copy cross charges.
- Prepare phone card cross charges and phone card distribution to the staff.
- Maintain custody of HQ cash fund
- Open the cash safe every morning and ensure a sufficient cash balance for the day.
- Dealing with bank and providing required documents to the bank.
- Visiting Government offices, Ministry of Economy & Ministry of Finance for finance task.
- Any other task assigned by line manager.Core Competencies:

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years or more experience in Accounting & Finance or related field, preferably in NGOs. Baccalaureate degree with 4 years or more experience in Accounting & Finance or related field, preferably in NGOs.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Accounting and Financial skills
- Taxation skills
- Understand Accounting software, preferably in (MIP accounting software).
- Fluency in Dari and Pashto
- Highly confident in Speaking, Reading, and Writing English.
- Understanding and passion for IAM core values and approach essential.
