Job Description:
General Duties
- Regularly visiting all field offices and providing appropriate support.
- Monitor and maintain office computer systems and networks.
- Perform monthly preventative maintenance on computers, printers, and copiers, and regularly inspect departmental computers through walk-ins.
- Ensure that office computers are in working order.
- Troubleshoot end-user hardware and software issues.
- Daily troubleshoot end-user hardware and software issues, work continuously on a task until completion, remove viruses from all computers, and manage the online IT ticketing system.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles, address password issues, and test and evaluate new technology.
- Troubleshoot BVA, Integra, and Box problems and provide IT orientation to newly hired staff.
- Ensure compliance with the IRC IT policy among all computer users.
- Maintain the IT Asset database for IT hardware and software and update all IT assets and user information in the online ServiceNow database and offline management sheets.
- Deliver various IT-related training sessions to end-users and field staff.
- Perform installations of computer operating systems, wireless access points, routers, network printers, MS Office 365, Windows 10 and 11, and network-attached storage, as well as conduct repairs.
- Keep the IT inventory database up to date for IT hardware, software, ISP contracts, PRs, etc.
- Provide a weekly IT activity report to the Senior IT Coordinator
Specific Duties:
- Manage IT assets and conduct monthly physical counts of IT assets.
- Prepare purchase requisitions (PRs) for IT equipment when required.
- Manage BVA activities.
- Manage SIM card assets.
- Maintain IT documentation.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology is the basic requirement.
- Proven experience in personnel Management.
- Excellent English and Dari/Pashto.
- Must have IT Skills.
- 2-3 years Experience in working with international NGOs/IT field.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
